About Cluck Ancestors, et al
Please sign in to see more.
The earliest verifiable records are shown on the immigration and passenger list from 1654-1679, and confirms that Henry Cluck Sr. entered and settled in Virginia in ca. 1662-1663.

The authors of this site are still in the process of lineage confirmation, although we feel that enough documentation exists to know that what we have entered is accurate thus far.

Listed data in Tribal Pages comes from the extensive work Merritt Graves published in his two books, "The Cluck Family of Tennessee", and the "Revised Henry Cluck Deceased 1841". He was an inspiration for gathering the "Clucks of Colorado, Missouri and Illinois". Jo Jordan-Cluck, wife of James Edward Cluck and has the family Bible of George Washington Cluck, Sr. She has done amazing documentation on the Clucks and her research was also amazing. Damon Neil Cluck has also published extensive work on the Cluck's and it was rewarding reviewing his data.

Ellen Ruth (Cluck) Stilflew says that Dimpie Virgil Cluck gave her a book, "The History of Knight's Prairie Baptist Church". This book is a survey of the Knight's Prairie cemetery made in 1972, and the headstone inscriptions are listed in that book. Some of the enclosed data, comes from that book.

If you feel we have made errors, please feel free to contact either of us. Jim Cluck: lymluck@msn.com or Jo Cluck: djcluck@yahoo.com

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
